Job summary
Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Salesforce/CRM-focused Software Developer to drive business process improvements across the Sunrun platform, including Salesforce Field Service and related integrations.
The role requires a strong background in HTML5, JavaScript, and Salesforce technologies, with a focus on delivering scalable, architectural solutions. Remote work is supported with occasional onsite collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
- 5 years of experience as a Software Developer proficient with HTML5, XML, Web Services, RESTful services, Web API, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, Salesforce Field Service, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components.
Responsibilities
- Understand business processes, propose improvements and opportunities, conduct requirements gathering sessions, and define resources, scope, and schedule (15%).
- Educate the team on how requested functionality fits Sunrun’s business processes and ensure timely delivery of requirements (20%).
- Act as solution architect to determine effort, post-implementation support, stability, and performance optimization (20%).
- Negotiate scope based on capacity and strategic alignment; review code and suggest best practices (5% and 10%).
- Coordinate with Salesforce Product team for bugs and new features (10%).
- Monitor performance and align Salesforce/AI initiatives with business objectives (10%).
