Description

This company specializes in teacher licensing and performance assessments, providing tailored testing programs aligned with state standards. They offer services such as test development, administration, and scoring within a collaborative and education-focused environment.

Customer Service Representative (CSR) Role

The CSR is part of the Customer Contact Center, responsible for handling high volumes of inquiries about teacher certification programs via phone, web uploads, chat, and email, following established protocols to resolve concerns related to certification, website issues, and complaints.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Respond to inquiries across multiple programs using various communication channels.
  2. Understand customer needs and provide prompt, accurate support.
  3. Utilize systems and resources (websites, published materials) to resolve issues.
  4. Serve as the initial contact point, escalating complex technical problems as needed.
  5. Maintain detailed customer records using a CRM system.
  6. Uphold security protocols and service quality standards.
  7. Perform additional assigned tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: Preferably 1-3 years in customer service; call center experience is beneficial but training is provided.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in PC operations, web navigation, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written skills; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving, organizational skills, active listening.
  • Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Primarily focused on inbound support for teacher certification inquiries—no sales involved.

Pay and Benefits

The pay rate is $15.00/hr. Eligibility for benefits depends on employment classification and duration. Benefits may include:
