Job summary

Smith System, in a remote role, seeks a Sales Operations Specialist to deliver outstanding service and support to our Regional Sales teams, dealers, architects, designers, and customers. You will manage inquiries via phone, email, live chat, and video meetings.

You will qualify inbound leads, maintain Salesforce records, review specs for bids, provide product guidance, coordinate rendering requests, and help ensure a seamless customer experience across departments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of five years in customer service or sales support.
• Experience supporting an outside sales organization is preferred.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing or related durable goods is preferred.
• Experience supporting dealer networks or education markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Regional Sales to provide sales support and drive revenue in an assigned territory.
• Champion Smith System values and deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Provide operational support to Regional Sales Managers, dealers, architects, designers, and customers.
• Manage inbound leads via web engagement; qualify opportunities and maintain Salesforce records.
• Review specs and perform product cross-references for bids, RFQs, alternates, and substitutions.
• Provide product recommendations, technical guidance, and compatibility information.
• Coordinate rendering and design requests with internal design resources.
• Develop knowledge of Smith System products, applications, and industry trends.
• Build relationships across Sales, Customer Service, Design, Marketing, and Operations for seamless experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, service, and efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Able to support Central time zone 8 am - 5 pm.
