Job summary

Chem-Trend, a company of the Freudenberg Group, is seeking a Sales Manager Polyurethane for the DACH region to drive revenue, margins and growth. You will lead the regional sales team, coach distributors and build strategic customer relationships across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

You will collaborate with Technology, Laboratory, Marketing and Operations to ensure a competitive product portfolio and support customers with trials and technical insights.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical sales within the polyurethane industry.
• Experience leading and developing sales teams, ideally international or matrix.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to execute sales plans and deliver results.
• Excellent negotiation skills with senior-level customers.
• Experience developing distributor and agent networks.
• Solid understanding of margin management, budgeting and KPIs.
• Fluent German and English; willingness to travel regularly within the DACH region.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue, margin and sustainable growth of the Polyurethane business across the DACH region.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategy aligned with European growth plan.
• Lead, coach and develop regional sales team and guide distributors/agents.
• Build and expand strategic customer relationships and negotiate with decision-makers.
• Maintain market presence through customer visits and product trials support.
• Identify new market opportunities, secure product approvals and supplier positions.
• Collaborate with Technology, Laboratory, Marketing and Operations to ensure competitive portfolio.
