Job summary

BlueScope North America is seeking a Sales Engineer to design and estimate proposals for conventional and PEMB buildings. You will review drawings, coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers, and help develop sales strategies to meet revenue and margin targets.

The role requires a Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering background, a PE license, 5+ years in construction, and strong communication. Remote work from qualifying states is allowed with up to 5% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or related field.
• PE required and license preferred.
• Minimum five years in construction; experience with conventional and steel buildings.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and specifications to identify scope for proposals.
• Develop preliminary structural designs for both conventional steel and PEMB buildings.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers; obtain quotes and develop estimates.
• Prepare and deliver proposals; communicate sales strategy and margins to BCSS/BBNA teams.
• Support sales team with project initiatives; travel up to 5% as required.
