BlueScope Buildings North America's Engineering department seeks a Professional Engineer to design and analyze structures that support and shape the built environment. You will work on project coordination, structural design services, and models for customers.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

Responsibilities

• Use engineering systems and drawings to provide project coordination and structural design services.
• Develop well-utilized designs of members and connections for detailing and manufacturing.
• Assure building’s structural integrity and safety.
• Develop advanced product and procedure knowledge and improve technical knowledge.
• Support department profitability goals and continuous improvement as part of a high-performance team.
• Meet design schedules and collaborate with project teams to solve problems cost-effectively.
• Provide technical assistance to customers and to entry-level designers; develop structural quotes.
