Job summary
Phillips Additive Manufacturing is seeking a high-energy Sales Engineer to drive our front-end business development, engaging education-focused accounts and early adopters with consultative discoveries to select the right additive solutions.
You will prospect high-fit accounts, qualify inbound leads, and expand the market footprint, transforming curiosity into a robust pipeline while collaborating with OEM partners, the applications team, and regional managers.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of outside, industrial or manufacturing sales experience.
- Experience selling capital equipment and manufacturing technology.
- Willingness to travel within a defined territory.
- Strong understanding of engineering, additive/3D printing or related field.
- Experience with technical buying committees is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Open doors and fuel the front end of our business development engine across education-focused accounts.
- Engage early adopters and conduct consultative, application-fit discoveries to identify right solutions.
- Prospect high-fit accounts, qualify inbound leads, and expand our market footprint to build a strong pipeline.
- Coordinate hand-offs of complex opportunities like LPBF, DED, and hybrid manufacturing to Regional Account Managers.
