Job summary
Phillips Additive Manufacturing in the Great Lakes region seeks a high-energy Sales Engineer to open doors and fuel the front end of our business development engine. You will engage education-focused accounts, nurture early adopters, and conduct consultative, application-fit discoveries to help customers identify the right solutions.
You will prospect high-fit accounts, qualify inbound leads, and expand our market footprint as a trusted advisor from day one.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of outside, industrial or manufacturing sales experience.
- Experience supporting the sale of capital equipment, manufacturing technology, automation, software-enabled hardware, or technical services.
- Willingness to travel throughout a defined territory and meet with clients regularly.
- Excellent understanding of engineering, additive/3D printing or similar field.
- Understands manufacturers, engineering teams, production environments, and technical buying committees.
Responsibilities
- Open doors and fuel the front end of our business development engine through education-focused accounts.
- Prospect high-fit accounts, qualify inbound leads, and expand our market footprint as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with applications team, OEM partners, and clients to hand off complex opportunities like LPBF, DED, and hybrid manufacturing.
