Company Overview: A leading provider of Third-Party Administrator (TPA) services, specializing in retirement plans such as 401(k), 403(b), 457, Solo401(k), MEPs, and Cash Balance plans. Our commitment to technical excellence and ERISA expertise has positioned us as a trusted partner in the retirement planning space.

Seeking a driven and knowledgeable Remote Sales Consultant to join our team in Texas. As a key member of our sales force, you will leverage your technical understanding of ERISA matters to drive revenue growth through sales of our TPA services. This role offers the unique opportunity to step into many active lead sources, focusing on expanding our client base in the Texas territory. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of retirement plan structures, compliance, and regulations, enabling effective consultation with Advisors, Attorneys, CPAs, and other relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with existing leads and actively prospect for new opportunities within the defined territory.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Advisors, Attorneys, CPAs, and other intermediaries to drive sales growth.
  3. Conduct thorough consultations with potential clients to understand their retirement plan needs and demonstrate the value of our TPA services.
  4. Leverage your technical expertise in ERISA matters to provide consultative guidance and ensure client plans are compliant and optimized.
  5. Articulate complex retirement plan concepts in a clear and persuasive manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Collaborate with the internal team to tailor solutions that meet the unique needs of clients within the target market of $0 - $100M in assets.
  7. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotes to potential clients.
  8. Utilize CRM tools to track and manage leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
  9. Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
  2. Minimum of 2+ years of sales experience within the retirement services industry.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of ERISA regulations and retirement plan structures.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
  6. Willingness to travel up to 25% overnight within the defined territory.
  7. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
  8. Existing network within the financial services or retirement planning space is a plus.
