Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a motivated individual for a 100% remote, 1099 life insurance sales role. No insurance experience is required, as licensing and state requirements are handled with the company’s support.

You will help families compare options, guide applications, and stay engaged through underwriting while leveraging exclusive leads and ongoing training. As an independent contractor, you’ll manage your time from home, with mentorship from Ben and Andrea and access to carrier

What you'll actually do

• Speak with people who have already requested information about life insurance
• Ask about the household, goals, and concerns before presenting anything
• Walk through suitable options and complete the application with the client
• Stay with each case through underwriting and keep the client informed
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM after every conversation
• Learn products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training

Who this is a fit for

• Able to manage your own time at home without daily check-ins
• Willing to complete state licensing before selling; timelines vary by state
