Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a self-motivated remote life insurance salesperson to join our 1099 contractor team. You will help families assess options, guide them through licensing, and support them through underwriting with ongoing licensing training.

No insurance experience is required to apply, but you must be willing to obtain a state life insurance license and work independently from home with a reliable internet connection. We provide exclusive leads and mentorship.

Qualifications

• No prior insurance experience required; willingness to learn and obtain licensing.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfort with meeting customers remotely and managing own schedule.

Responsibilities

No insurance experience needed. This 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role is open to career changers. You'll help families who requested information understand their options and apply, and we walk you through licensing first.

What you'll actually do

• Speak with people who have already requested information about life insurance
• Ask about the household, goals, and concerns before presenting anything
• Walk through suitable options and complete the application with the client
• Stay with each case through underwriting and keep the client informed
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM after every conversation
• Learn products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training

Who this is a fit for
