Job summary

CPG Beyond is seeking a Safety Specialist II to join our team remotely and in Boyce, Louisiana. The role reports to the Safety Manager and provides leadership, direction, and education on CPG Construction Projects to reduce risk, improve safety culture, and ensure compliance.

This position supports the Safety Manager with site safety programs, incident investigations, risk assessments, training, and safety documentation, while maintaining files and assisting with emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with OSHA regs and NFPA 70E.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and following reporting processes.
• Experience writing JHAs, SOPs, EOPs, MOPS, Hazcom, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Safety Manager in site safety compliance and guidance.
• Plan and conduct training on worksite safety.
• Perform safety surveys and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Assist in risk assessments (JHA/AHA/PTPs).
• Investigate incidents and maintain case documentation.
• Maintain safety files and participate in emergency procedures.
