Job summary

Encova Insurance is looking for a Safety and Loss Control Consultant to improve occupational safety programs. This remote/hybrid role involves conducting loss analysis, assessing safety efforts, and providing risk assessments to underwriters. Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree in safety or related fields and potentially some certification. Competitive salary range of $77,450 to $123,921 annually, plus bonus and benefits, along with company vehicle provisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required; preferably in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, or a related field.
• Preference for applicants with two years of occupational safety management or consulting experience.
• Certification as CSP, CIH, ARM, or ASP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct loss analysis before on-site safety surveys.
• Assess policy holders' safety efforts and detect hazards.
• Participate in management training programs.

Skills

Knowledge of core elements within the occupational safety process

Proficient in Microsoft Word

Effective oral and written communication skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, or related field

Master's degree in Safety or Industrial Hygiene (preferred)
