Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in a safety/related field or the equivalent with 4 years of experience.
• Five years’ experience in safety/logistics with applicable safety certifications; two years leading safety programs.
• Knowledge of industrial/occupational safety concepts and trends; strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct prevention and compliance efforts to support safety strategies.
• Lead cross-functional projects to support safety programs and vendor relations.
• Develop changes to safety process documentation and facilities operations.
• Review metrics and evaluate outcomes of safety initiatives.
• Facilitate presentations and support changes in safety technology systems and procedures.
• Attend trade shows, build relationships with regulators, and monitor industry trends.
• Ensure program success by overseeing rollout of safety changes.
• Remote work eligibility with required presence near FedEx campuses within certain regions.
