Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) is seeking a Travel Consultant to join our remote team serving corporate clients. You will advise and arrange travel for individuals and groups, researching options and anticipating needs to upsell services, and handling domestic and international itineraries using Sabre.

We value exceptional client service, precise communication, and collaboration. The Traveler Care team operates 24/7; flexibility for afternoon shifts and weekends is essential,

Qualifications

• Passion for excellence in client service.
• Proven track record in client service delivery.
• Advanced proficiency in Sabre GDS (native-level).
• Strong understanding of travel industry dynamics, booking procedures, and supplier relationships.
• Professional communication (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail.
• Act with integrity and protect traveler information.
• Resolve customer issues quickly/with supplier.
• Teamwork and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate customers (individuals and groups).
• Research travel options and proactively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services.
• Book domestic and international business travel (air, road, rail, accommodations).
• Use Sabre and other GDS tools.
• Ensure compliance with travel policy, provider policies, and regulations.
• Use positive telephone service techniques and handle special requests.
• Collaborate to coach, mentor, and improve service levels.
