Job summary

Knowledge Coop is seeking an experienced Software QA Consultant to help us assess and improve how quality assurance fits into our software development process. We are a small SaaS team with a mostly manual QA approach that creates bottlenecks in our workflow.

The engagement will start with a focused assessment and may expand into hands-on support implementing the recommended framework, automation, processes, and documentation. Location is Remote (Pacific Time Zone); duration about 4 weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience with QA management or technical leadership.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS development and testing.
• Expertise in building and improving QA processes.
• Expertise in test automation strategy and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Assess current QA process, tools, roles, and workflow.
• Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and unnecessary manual work.
• Recommend QA best practices for a small SaaS team.
• Identify opportunities for test automation and coverage.
• Help build the initial framework, processes, and documentation.
• Create a prioritized roadmap for improvement.
