Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an IT Software Architect to lead enterprise software, SaaS governance, integrations, and agent-enabled workflows. You will partner with Security, Procurement, Legal, and Product teams to build scalable patterns and ensure security, data quality, and compliance across a growing software footprint.

You will own target architecture for enterprise software, drive deprecation, and develop reusable blueprints for data integration, identity, and admin models, enabling business teams

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise architecture, SaaS governance, or related technical leadership experience.
• Strong experience designing integrations across large-scale SaaS, CRM, ERP, and marketplace platforms.
• Ability to write clear architecture decision records and governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Own target architecture for enterprise software, SaaS, integrations, APIs, and agent-enabled business systems.
• Drive deprecation and consolidation of enterprise software and tools.
• Create architecture standards for identity, access, data movement, and admin models.
• Partner with Security, Procurement, and Finance to ensure security and governance alignment.
• Develop reusable architecture blueprints for data integration, knowledge management, and workflows.
