Job summary

Norstella is seeking a high-energy RWD Analytic Consultant to support our real-world data engagements across life sciences. You will query and analyze claims, lab, EMR and other RWD sources to extract actionable insights for clients.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or higher in a quantitative field, 3+ years of RWD experience, and strong SQL, Excel and PowerPoint skills. This remote role supports the US market with opportunities for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Economics, Epidemiology, Mathematics, Public Health, Computer Science).
• 3+ years of professional experience with real-world data (claims, lab, EMR/EHR, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Query and analyze healthcare data sources (claims, lab, EMR, etc.).
• Enhance understanding of healthcare trends and support evidence-based decisions.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists and statisticians to define analytical requirements.
• Clean, validate, and transform data for analysis with data quality in mind.
• Develop and maintain data documentation like data dictionaries and mappings.
• Translate analytic outputs into consultative business insights.
• All other duties as assigned.
