Job summary

Norstella seeks a skilled RWD Analytic Consultant to support life sciences analytical engagements across the US. You will query diverse data sources—claims, lab results, EMR—and translate findings into actionable business insights while ensuring data quality and transparency.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clinicians, data scientists and health professionals, with a strong focus on documentation, data lineage, and delivering evidence-based recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Economics, Epidemiology, Mathematics, Public Health, Computer Science).
• 3+ years of professional experience working hands-on with RWD (claims, lab, EMR/EHR, etc.).
• Understanding of life sciences industry and US healthcare ecosystem.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Proficiency in querying relational databases (SQL) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Query and analyze healthcare data sources (claims, lab, EMR) to support life sciences analytical use cases.
• Enhance understanding of healthcare trends and drive evidence-based decision-making.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, statisticians, and healthcare professionals to define analytical requirements and deliver insights.
• Clean, validate, and transform raw data into structured formats while ensuring data quality.
• Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, mappings, and lineage.
• Translate analytic outputs into consultative business insights.
