BairesDev is looking for a skilled Rust Engineer to build and maintain performance-critical backend services and systems-leaning applications. You will ensure high-performance execution and memory safety while solving complex architectural challenges.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Rust and systems programming.
• Proven expertise in building backend services using frameworks like Actix or Axum.
• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and designing efficient database schemas.
• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming patterns and concurrent systems.
• Experience implementing communication protocols such as gRPC or JSON-RPC.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance backend services and systems-level applications using Rust.
• Implement efficient, non-blocking I/O operations and concurrent systems using async patterns.
• Build and manage scalable API architectures using gRPC or JSON-RPC for robust service communication.
• Integrate and optimize data persistence layers using PostgreSQL to ensure high data integrity.
• Orchestrate application deployment within AWS cloud environments.
• Conduct performance profiling and benchmarking to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
