Join BairesDev, a global tech leader with 15+ years delivering for Google and top startups. As a Senior Rust Engineer, you’ll build high-performance backend services in Rust for critical systems, ensuring scalability, security and responsiveness across our cloud infrastructure.

You’ll design APIs with Actix or Axum, apply asynchronous patterns, optimize PostgreSQL queries, and deploy in AWS while keeping memory-safe code and solid tests.

Formación

• 4+ years of software engineering with a focus on systems.
• Strong Rust expertise for backend services.
• Experience with Actix or Axum and async patterns.
• Hands-on PostgreSQL, gRPC/JSON-RPC, and AWS deployments.
• Deep understanding of low-level networking and high-performance architectures.
• Advanced English proficiency.

As a Senior Rust Engineer, you will build high-performance backend services using Rust for critical systems. You will connect complex architectural requirements with efficient code execution, ensuring that our infrastructure remains scalable, secure, and highly responsive.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop robust backend services and APIs using Rust and frameworks like Actix or Axum.
• Implement efficient asynchronous programming patterns to handle high-concurrency workloads.
• Manage data persistence and optimize queries using PostgreSQL for performance-critical applications.
• Develop and integrate communication protocols using gRPC or JSON-RPC for distributed systems.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based services specifically within AWS environments.
• Ensure system reliability and performance through rigorous testing and optimization of memory-safe code.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on systems programming.
• Strong expertise in Rust and building performance-critical backend services.
• Proficiency with web frameworks like Actix or Axum and asynchronous patterns.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, gRPC or JSON-RPC, and cloud deployments on AWS.
• Deep understanding of low-level networking and high-performance system architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
