Feldera seeks a Rust backend engineer to own and evolve its connector ecosystem. You will build and maintain connectors for Delta Lake, Iceberg, Kafka, and Postgres, delving into storage formats, wire protocols, transactional semantics, and change-data-capture mechanisms to deliver fast, correct, and resilient data pipelines.

You will design and improve the shared abstractions, APIs, and tooling for fast connector development, ensure fault-tolerance, and optimize performance in a fully remote,

Competenze

• Strong proficiency in Rust or strong systems-programming experience in a comparable language.
• Experience building data integrations, connectors, or pipelines in production.

• Connector engineering: Own and evolve Feldera's input and output connectors.
• Change data capture: Build robust CDC ingestion with correct, ordered pipelines.
• Connector framework: Design and improve shared abstractions, APIs, tooling.
• Formats & protocols: Work with table formats, serialization formats, and wire protocols.
• Correctness & fault-tolerance: Ensure reliability with no data loss/duplication.
• Performance: Push throughput and latency to meet production workloads.
