Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Manager of Technical Service, Ruminant Animal Health to lead the North American Ruminant Technical Service team. You will translate science into customer value, guide trials, and partner with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to drive growth.

This remote role requires up to 50% travel and a strong leadership presence across a matrixed organization. You will shape technical strategy, engage producers and professionals, and oversee field programs ensuring science-based solutions

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, or related industries.
• 5+ years of direct leadership experience coaching and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Proven ability to partner with commercial teams to deliver customer value.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Specialists and subject matter experts.
• Establish clear priorities, objectives, and development plans aligned with business goals.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and Innovation teams to accelerate growth and customer success.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex technical challenges.
• Engage directly with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and industry influencers across North America.
• Support product launches, technical positioning, customer education, and scientific communications.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences, customer events, and professional associations.
