Job summary

Contract Land Staff, LLC is seeking an experienced Right of Way Coordinator to join our team, working remotely in Texas. You will develop and track budgets, schedules, and reporting related to ROW and real estate acquisitions for electric distribution projects.

You will coordinate land rights, lead quality control, and prepare project and portfolio reports. Strong Excel and project scheduling tool skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
• Minimum of four years of experience in an office or professional environment.
• Experience in the Right-of-Way industry or public utility environment (electric distribution preferred).
• IRWA Specialty certification required; lower-level certification may be acceptable with extensive relevant industry experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be willing to work remotely in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage ROW budgets and schedules for Distribution projects.
• Coordinate acquisition of land rights including easements for electric distribution lines and fee simple property acquisitions for substations.
• Lead for development and monitoring of quality control processes to ensure timely project execution.
• Prepare and issue project reports including production status, earned value, schedule performance, cost performance, and risk indicators.
• Prepare and issue portfolio-level reports summarizing overall project performance across multiple projects.
• Monitor risks and support mitigation strategies related to right-of-way activities.
• At times, act as a single point of contact for project control-related matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, land agents, engineering, and legal resources.
• Support Program Manager with forecasting, data analysis, and performance reporting.
