Job summary

OPENLANE seeks a Scheduling and Logistics Specialist to optimize inspector routes, create daily schedules, and balance workloads across field locations. You will apply route optimization tools and data analytics to improve dispatch efficiency and collaborate with field managers to resolve scheduling challenges.

This remote role emphasizes analytical thinking, cross-functional problem solving, and strong communication with Dispatch Teams, Field Managers, and IT.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in routing, logistics, or scheduling.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and GIS/route optimization software required.
• Must be able to work full-time, remotely, with occasional travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Director of Operations to establish and optimize inspector routes and dispatch plans.
• Use route optimization software and data analytics to drive efficiencies and communicate schedule updates.
• Direct and manage daily routing activities within time, cost, quality, and resource constraints.
• Perform periodic data management reviews and route assessments for continuous optimization.
• Serve as primary contact for inspector concerns and escalate critical issues as needed.
• Partner cross-functionally to promote positive employee relations and field participation.
