Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 5+ years of targeted experience
• Expertise in rotordynamics and dynamic testing of high-speed systems
• Proficiency in DSP methods and software development (Python, C++, MATLAB)
• Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools such as ANSYS and DOE clearance
• Must be able to obtain a DOE Q Clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead rotordynamics optimization in design and manufacturing of gas centrifuge hardware
• Conduct experiments and model-based simulations to resolve complex rotor dynamics challenges
• Design and guide advanced test systems: data acquisition, DSP architectures, high-speed signal analysis
• Lead dynamic testing initiatives for balancing: influence coefficient methods, modal analysis, hybrid testing
• Prepare, document, and present technical reports with testing protocols and recommendations
