Job summary

NANA Management Services is seeking a Remote Sous Chef to support daily culinary operations for Land’s End Resort in Homer, AK. This rotational role (3 weeks on / 3 weeks off) involves menu development, staff supervision, and ensuring high-quality, safe meals across diverse menus.

The position requires 3 years of Sous Chef experience, knowledge of food production equipment, and English proficiency. A Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe is needed within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years of Sous Chef experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge and training in using a variety of food production equipment.
• Must speak, understand, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
• Complies with standard portion sizes, methods, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Prepares proteins and other items using kitchen equipment.
• Maintains clean and sanitary workstation.
• Follows plate presentation and garnish setup.
• Supervises kitchen staff as needed.
• Attends meetings and discusses daily menus with supervisors.
