Job summary

GE Vernova International LLC is seeking a Manager of the Remote Operations Center (ROC) to lead a world-class team of engineers responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the wind fleet. You will drive strategic development, standard work, and global 24/7 coverage to maximize fleet availability and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Digital, Engineering, and Field Operations, along with strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7+ years of experience in Wind Operations, Power Generation, or large-scale remote operations centers.
• Strong understanding of wind farm SCADA systems, fleet management software, and diagnostic workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
• Experience with lean management or operational excellence methodologies.
• Experience in grid-scale renewable energy operations and regulatory environments.
• Strategic planning and budget management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead ROC Engineers with daily mentorship and career development, overseeing 24/7 global coverage.
• Set KPIs (MTTR, Alarm Management, Fleet Availability) and drive data-driven improvements.
• Drive safety/compliance, ensure ROC processes meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Site Managers, Regional Leaders, and Product Engineering on fleet performance issues.
