Job summary

FANUC America seeks an Engineer to provide technical support to integrators and end users across a multi-state region. This remote role targets the corridor between Mason, Ohio and Boston, MA and includes training, advanced software and controls expertise, and collaboration with District Managers to drive regional growth.

Ideal candidates have automation/robotics engineering experience, strong customer focus and the ability to travel up to 50% across the US, with hands-on skills in robot

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in engineering and integration of industrial robotics automation systems.
• Ability to read electrical and controls prints.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with Sales and Applications Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Identify and visit key or competitor accounts in the region to build relationships and train customers.
• Strengthen regional ASI network and end users through training, technology transfer and on-site support.
• Provide product and system expertise in robot hardware, software, machine vision, and system safety.
• Utilize SolidWorks, AutoCAD and FANUC tools to assist customers with robotic automation solutions.
• Promote ROBOGUIDE, Payload Checker and other pre-engineering tools.
• Support setup and integration of robot options and document resolutions of support requests.
• Assist with Vision Evaluations and iRVision troubleshooting; support Demo and Sim Evaluations.
• Accompany sales on calls when high-level technical support is needed; travel up to 50%.
