Job summary

Mercy Virtual Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the vAcute program in Clayton, MO. You will provide care coordination and education to patients, working in a 24-hour virtual care setting, with opportunities in OBGYN or Pediatrics.

The role requires a BSN, an RN license, BLS within 6 months, and at least five years of direct clinical nursing experience; strong communication and teamwork are essential in this remote, high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure and BSN with 5+ years of direct clinical nursing experience.
• Current state license or eligibility and ability to obtain licenses as needed.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• OBGYN or Pediatrics experience preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for virtual care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Mercy vAcute program across education and care coordination.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate services via video and calls.
• Lead care teams, monitor patients, and prioritize tasks in a virtual setting.
• Adhere to Mercy policies and ensure compliance with regulations.
