Buena Vista Home Health, Palliative Care & Hospice is seeking an experienced OASIS Review Nurse (RN) to support clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and documentation integrity in a home health setting. This role reviews OASIS assessments and ICD‑10 coding to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with CMS requirements, while collaborating with clinical leaders to improve outcomes.

The ideal candidate has strong OASIS knowledge, Medicare regulations familiarity, and 2+ years of home

Qualifications

• RN with California license and 2+ years in home health.
• Strong knowledge of OASIS (OASIS-E preferred) and ICD-10 coding.
• Understanding CMS CoPs and Medicare regulations.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and clinical judgment.
• Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff.

Responsibilities

• Prospectively review all OASIS assessments for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze variation and alert reports to identify gaps and trends.
• Ensure correct ICD-10 coding and sequencing for diagnoses.
• Collaborate with clinicians to clarify documentation issues.
• Review visit utilization for alignment with patient condition and reimbursement.
• Identify under/overutilization and report findings to leadership.
• Communicate trends in OASIS data to leadership.
• Participate in Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance activities.
• Assist with chart audits and additional reviews as needed.
