Job summary

Shearwater Health Inc. is seeking an RN Clinical Decision Support Team Lead to supervise a regional payer utilization management program.

You will lead a mixed team of clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring regulatory alignment and operational excellence across projects, reports, and client interactions. The role requires an active RN license, 4+ years in payer UM leadership, and the ability to travel ~10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or healthcare field.
• Active RN license in any state.
• At least 4 years’ experience leading utilization management in payer environment.
• Experience delivering care management to Medicare and commercial populations.
• Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams of clinicians and non‑clinicians.
• Ability to travel at least 10% as needed for meetings/events.
• Able to work from home in a distraction free private office space.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, supervise and delegate work to a team of contributors including licensed staff and administrative support.
• Monitor and coach staff per accreditation and regulatory guidelines.
• Hire, onboard and train to support growth.
• Collaborate in a matrixed environment to support operational health.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for stakeholders.
• Engage in client-facing meetings to report status and drive operational excellence.
