Job summary

Crawford & Company is seeking an RN Case Manager for the Los Angeles, CA region. This role offers work-from-home with local travel to patient sites and providers, plus quarterly bonuses and CEU benefits.

As an RN, you will deliver effective medical case management aligned with URAC and CMSA standards, supporting Workers’ Comp, health, disability, and liability cases while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field preferred; associates/diploma in nursing accepted.
• Three years of Workers' Compensation case management; ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.
• Active RN license in good standing; valid driver's license.
• Minimum of one URAC-certified designation from approved list.
• Must be able to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Review reports and support staff development as needed.
• Assess case records, data, and client status to define needs and provide proactive case management.
• Meet QA standards with minimal supervisory intervention.
• Coordinate return-to-work with client, employer, physician.
• Facilitate peer reviews and IME referrals with proper documentation.
• Manage multiple service lines (W/C, Health, STD, LTD, Auto, Liability, TPA, Catastrophic).
• Provide cost, treatment, and outcome recommendations to aid rehabilitation and RTW.
• Review files for claims adjusters and supervisors as required.
• Prepare monthly evaluation reports detailing activity, progress, and recommendations.
