Job summary

Crawford & Company is hiring a Senior RN Case Manager for the East & South Los Angeles County, CA region. This remote role includes local field travel and focuses on delivering cost‑effective medical case management aligned with URAC standards and CMSA Practice guidelines for Workers’ Compensation and related insurance lines.

The role requires an active RN license, 3+ years WC case management, and at least one URAC certification, with strong communication skills and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred; Associates or diploma in nursing also accepted.
• Three years of Workers' Compensation case management with ability to independently coordinate a diverse caseload.
• Ability to work independently and meet administrative requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of WC statutes.
• URAC certifications (1+) preferred.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Must maintain valid driver's license.
• Must be able to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Review case records and data; analyze status and needs to provide proactive case management.
• Meet QA standards and productivity targets with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate return-to-work with clients, physicians, and employers.
• Manage multiple service lines and complex catastrophic cases.
• Prepare monthly written evaluation reports on case activity and progress.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters and other parties involved in rehabilitation.
• Travel to homes, healthcare providers, job sites, and offices as needed.
