Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Law, Business, Policy, Development Studies, or related field; plus five (5) years post-bachelors progressive experience as a Risk Strategist or related role.
• Developing risk strategies for technical products with product, engineering, and operations teams.
• Distilling complex risk and policy problems into clear guidance for internal stakeholders and users.
• Translating business requirements to technical configurations; deriving insights and evangelizing product recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Drive risk strategy for company-level strategic initiatives with product, legal, operations, sales, and partnerships teams.
• Research and analyze to assess Stripe's risk performance and develop long-term growth plans.
• Increase business enablement while maintaining a positive user experience and efficiency.
• Challenge status quo and provide multiple alternative solutions and execution criteria.
• Execute special projects and provide ad hoc analyses as initiatives evolve.
