Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Service Manager for a fully remote role with regional travel to support New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. This full-time, exempt position focuses on high-quality consultative services and technical support to policyholders, acting as a regional resource for staff and underwriting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Risk Solutions handling middle market commercial accounts with strong emphasis on service.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Risk Management, Engineering or equivalent undergraduate degree preferred.
• ARM and/or CFPS preferred.
• Customer service focused - supports internal/external clients with proactive service.
• Strong time management skills – plan and organize work to meet outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of service accounts by serving as a single point of contact on multi-location accounts.
• Allocates resources based on account need and develops service plans.
• Supports underwriting in new business development, account improvement and retention through stewardship.
• Shares knowledge of policy holder services and trains staff and underwriters on these services.
• Coordinates service assignments across geographic regions.
• Assists the Risk Solutions Field Director in overseeing field staff and provides coaching/feedback.
