Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with workers’ compensation claims or providing related consulting services.
• At least 2 years of experience in Risk Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of workers’ compensation laws and regulations is required.
• Knowledge of the Education Code as it relates to industrial accident leaves is a plus.
• Property & Casualty Insurance background and/or a Self-Insurance Certificate are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and manipulate workers’ compensation data to identify claim trends and cost drivers.
• Develop and present statistical reports, dashboards, and visual analytics to communicate findings.
• Support clients in improving return‑to‑work programs and reducing indemnity costs.
• Advise on FEHA compliance and the Interactive Process for industrial disabilities.
• Identify opportunities to optimize medical provider networks and PPO utilization.
• Collaborate with claims teams to ensure proactive claim management and RIAPs.
