Job summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking a Risk Governance Program Manager to oversee enterprise risk governance programs and related strategic initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage governance processes, and support executive and Board risk oversight.

The role serves as the business owner for designated risk systems and programs to ensure consistent, sustainable governance practices across the Bank.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of enterprise risk management, policy governance, issues management, and report governance.
• Ability to read and interpret regulatory and governance documents.
• Ability to translate regulatory and governance requirements into actionable business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supports strategic planning and leads initiatives affecting risk governance programs.
• Provides governance, program management, and decision-support to Risk Leadership Team.
• Coordinates risk governance framework elements, including committees, charters, and reporting standards.
• Partners with executives and stakeholders to align governance responsibilities and resolve cross-functional issues.
• Manages governance calendars, agendas, minutes, and action items for risk committees.
• Prepares and validates risk reports for executive and Board oversight.
• Maintains complete records of policy decisions and governance activities.
• Oversees the GRC platform business requirements and change management.
