Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC partners with a leading law firm to hire two experienced Business Intake Researchers for its Information Governance and risk management function. This fully remote, about six-month contract targets professionals with corporate research, due diligence, risk assessment, KYC/AML, or business intake expertise.

Candidates must reside in WA, OR, AK, CA, NY, or DC and will support risk reviews, conflicts workflows, and intake processes within a collaborative legal team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of risk assessment, investigative due diligence, corporate research.
• Experience with public-record resources such as Lexis, Bloomberg, Dun & Bradstreet, TLO, SEC databases.
• Knowledge of KYC/AML concepts.
• Ability to interpret financial information and SEC filings.
• Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with conflicts, business intake, or professional-services risk management is a plus.
• Familiarity with Intapp or similar intake/conflicts technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on prospective clients and related entities to identify potential business and risk concerns.
• Review corporate backgrounds, financial information, litigation and regulatory history, SEC filings, public records, and current news.
• Analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, concise research findings.
• Support attorneys and internal stakeholders with due diligence related to new clients and matters.
• Assist with research involving potential lateral hires, business combinations, and other risk-related projects.
• Partner with conflicts and business intake teams to identify potential issues during the intake process.
• Support additional Information Governance and risk management initiatives.
