Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking two experienced Business Intake Researchers for a fully remote, approximate 6-month contract with a leading law firm. The role supports Information Governance, risk management, and due diligence for new clients and matters, including corporate research, regulatory history, and potential lateral hires.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of risk assessment, due diligence, or corporate research.
• Experience using public-record research platforms (Lexis, Bloomberg, D&B, TLO, SEC databases).
• Working knowledge of KYC/AML concepts and due diligence practices.
• Ability to interpret financial information and review SEC filings.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive requests.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with legal conflicts, business intake, or professional-services risk management a plus.
• Familiarity with Intapp or similar intake/conflicts technology a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on prospective clients, companies, and related entities to identify risk concerns.
• Review corporate backgrounds, financial information, litigation and regulatory history, SEC filings, public records, and current news.
• Analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, concise research findings.
• Support attorneys and internal stakeholders with due diligence related to new clients and matters.
• Assist with research involving potential lateral hires, business combinations, and other risk-related projects.
• Partner with conflicts and business intake teams to identify issues during intake.
• Support Information Governance and risk management initiatives.
