Job summary

EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors to perform risk surveys and provide risk control reports for commercial insurance clients. You will work from home or office and service onsite survey assignments in the Flushing, NY area and nearby within about 10 miles of Flushing.

Responsibilities include scheduling surveys, delivering reports, and managing assignments to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim, loss control, underwriting, and/or fire and safety experience is a plus.
• If no experience, a 15-hour online certification option is available.
• Fees are negotiable depending on experience and job specifics.

Responsibilities

• Schedule on-site surveys and provide risk control reports to insurance clients.
• Manage assignments, secure local appointments within a territory, and complete work on time.
• Evaluate hazards to mitigate risks for insurance company clients; focus on properties and general liability.
