Job summary

EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors to perform on-site surveys and risk control assessments for commercial insurance clients. You will work from home or a home office and service Elmhurst, NY-area sites within roughly 10 miles, coordinating schedules and delivering comprehensive risk control reports.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim, loss control, underwriting, and/or fire and safety experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule on-site surveys and provide risk control reports to insurance clients.
• Evaluate hazards and recommend loss-control measures to improve safety.
• Manage and complete local assignments, securing client appointments within a 10-mile radius of Elmhurst, NY.
