Sentry is seeking a risk control consultant to evaluate facilities, advise underwriters, and help clients implement safety practices. The role supports multiple industries across the Charlotte region with substantial travel and home-office flexibility.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years in safety consulting, a relevant degree, and strong communication skills. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth in a national client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety or equivalent work experience.
• Emphasis in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or Physical Sciences preferred.
• 1-5 years of insurance safety consulting or safety work in construction/manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Conduct onsite facility evaluations to assess exposures and preventative maintenance.
• Evaluate facility protections (fire suppression, alarms) for occupancy and hazards.
• Prepare detailed reports for Property, General Liability, Auto, and Workers’ Comp to assist underwriting.
• Assist customers with safety policies and procedures per account and loss exposure.
• Provide advanced risk management and consultative services to assigned clients.
• Lead OSHA 10-hour seminars for regional construction line of business.
• Develop and deliver safety seminars to promote awareness and reduce claims.
• Develop service proposals and plans for qualified accounts.
