Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Manager, Risk Analytics in the United States to shape risk analytics methodology, pricing strategy, and portfolio decision-making. You will be the senior technical voice for Risk Analytics, mentoring teams while remaining deeply engaged in technical and strategic work.

You’ll develop data models, standards, and practices underpinning the function for years to come, partnering with senior leadership to influence major commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in actuarial pricing, predictive modeling, risk analytics, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and technical capabilities across SQL, Python or R, data pipelines, and data modeling.
• Experience with modern data tools such as dbt and Snowflake, plus visualization platforms like Tableau or Streamlit.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor senior analysts or data scientists and raise a team’s technical standards.
• Ability to investigate complex datasets in depth and translate insights to executives.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the pricing methodology for risk premiums with frameworks and guardrails.
• Lead risk strategy conversations with senior leadership and translate portfolio performance into pricing decisions.
• Develop decision systems turning analytics into actionable business processes.
• Architect and manage the Risk Analytics data foundation and long-term roadmap.
• Establish technical and analytical standards to improve quality and scalability.
• Mentor Lead and senior data scientists, raising the analytical bar.
• Promote AI-native workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with business and leadership teams to align risk with commercial priorities.
• Communicate complex findings to audiences from technical to executive.
