Job summary

Trinity Health PACE is seeking a Certified Risk Adjustment Coding Specialist. The role is fully remote with training in Livonia, MI. You will assign ICD/CPT codes, validate data, and support billing accuracy, while staying current with coding guidelines and HIPAA rules.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the listed coding certifications (AAPC or AHIMA).
• Two years of experience in a risk adjustment coding environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and diseases.
• Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate records and assign ICD/CPT codes and sequences.
• Abstract and validate information; respond to audit feedback.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation for billing.
• Monitor missing or incorrect records and take corrective action.
• Stay updated on coding guidelines and HIPAA requirements.
