Job summary

Qualifications

• Possess valid CCS, CPC, CPC-A or CCA designations with at least one year coding experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding.
• Experience with CMS/HIPAA regulations and medical record reviews.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and code to the highest specificity (ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS).
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of records for completeness and accuracy.
• Conduct risk adjustment data validations using HCC guidelines.
• Interact with clients and colleagues to communicate value-added information and improvements.
