Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a full-time Risk Adjustment Coding Specialist to join our Population Health team. The role involves creating and compiling educational materials and delivering coding and documentation education to providers, the clinic care team, and coding/billing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's/bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum of two years in a medical practice setting with clinic administration, billing, coding, or medical records OR two years in centralized billing for primary care/specialists.
• AAPC or AHIMA coding credential required within one year of hire.
• Ability to accurately review ICD-9/10 coding documentation.
• Experience with payer data, risk adjustment processes, and quality reporting preferred.
