Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System, part of Trinity Health, is hiring a Risk Adjustment Coding Specialist II for the SAMG Population Health. This fully remote, full-time role supports education, coding accuracy, and analytics to improve risk adjustment data.

You will develop materials, conduct provider trainings, perform chart audits, and work with payers to optimize documentation and recapture rates. CRC is required, with AHIMA or AAPC credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years risk adjustment coding in medical practice, network or payer setting.
• Minimum of 4 years coding experience.
• CRC certification required; AHIMA or AAPC credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and/or compile educational materials for providers and staff.
• Conduct coding and documentation education with clinicians and coding/billing teams.
• Perform medical record audits for risk adjustment and core quality measures.
• Collaborate with payer partners and leverage data to improve CCD documentation and recapture rates.
