Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho is seeking a full-time Risk Adjustment Coding Specialist to join its Population Health team. This day-shift, benefited role offers the option to work from home once training is complete.

The specialist will create and/or compile educational materials, conduct coding and documentation education with providers and staff, and may perform medical record audits for risk adjustment and quality measures.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a medical practice setting or centralized billing.
• AAPC or AHIMA coding credential within one year of hire.
• Ability to review ICD-9/10 documentation.
• Experience with payer data and quality reporting preferred.
