ORC is seeking a Right of Way professional to acquire rights for distribution and transmission projects while supporting the project team. Remote work within Ohio is available with occasional field duties and travel across the state.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and professional communication with landowners and colleagues. Compensation reflects multiple agent levels and Ohio residency requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Notary or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite — Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• An iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC’s systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Acquire right-of-way rights for distribution and electrical transmission line projects in accordance with project guidelines and regulations.
• Support the Project Manager and project team members.
• Prepare real estate documents.
• Conduct property research for ownership and boundary information.
• Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding right of way acquisition.
• Perform general administrative tasks that keep projects moving.
